Sports Festival

The Emscherland Leisure and Adventure Park is an inter-municipal adventure and recreation park that offers many opportunities for a sports event. Covering an area of around 30 hectares, the park offers a great area for the Emscherland Sports Festival, a hands-on event for the whole family.
The “Leap over the Emscher” bridge makes Emscherland a permanent destination for cyclists and walkers.

The most important mass sports event of the Week of Sport 2025 is the “Emscherland Sports Festival – exercise activities for the whole family” on Sunday, 25 May 2025, 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.

You can expect an unforgettable Sunday full of fun, exercise and friendly sportspeople! Our sports festival offers a variety of activities for all ages and interests.
